DR. STEVE HUNTER Dr. Steve Hunter not only serves as the Dean of Students at Criswell College, he is Associate Professor of Counseling and Psychology. He has been in the counseling field for 20 years. He serves on staff at First Baptist Dallas in the counseling ministry. He has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Texas A and M University, an M.Div. from Southwestern Theological Seminary, an M.S. in counseling with a concentration in psychology from Texas A and M, Commerce, and 2 doctoral degrees. One doctoral degree is in counseling with a concentration in psychology and his second doctoral degree is in pastoral ministries from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Germantown, TN. He is also a licensed professional counselor and counseling supervisor with a national certification in counseling. He has been married for 16 years and has six kids (five girls and 1 boy).
